SportsMEDIA Technology Corporation Supports Super Bowl Broadcast to Fans Worldwide

MIAMIFEBRUARY 5, 2010SportsMEDIA Technology Corporation, the award-winning provider of graphics, statistical and video enhancement solutions, will provide CBS and the National Football League (NFL) with the integrating technology for broadcasting the timing, scoring and statistics at Super Bowl XLIV to be held on February 7, 2010 in Miami, Florida.

SportsMEDIA's QBStat system has been integrated into CBS' and NFL Network's facilities to synchronize the broadcast of real-time in-game statistics as well as players' season and career statistics. SportsMEDIA's Autograph system distributes real-time game clock and play clock information in conjunction with VizRT's graphics systems. By centralizing and distributing this information, the anticipated audience of nearly 1 billion worldwide viewers and sports announcers will receive the most comprehensive, accurate and real-time experience of plays throughout the game.

SportsMEDIA's technology has supported the production of Super Bowl broadcasts by CBS Sports, ABC Sports, FOX Sports and the NFL World Feed for the past 10 years.

Super Bowl XLIV will be televised domestically beginning at 6:00 p.m. EST on February 7, 2010 on CBS and internationally by the NFL and its international broadcast partners. According to the NFL, the Super Bowl will be broadcast worldwide in more than 230 countries and territories.
