Beckman Jr., Professional Engineer (PE) and Professional Land Surveyor (PLS), as land development regional manager. In his position, Beckman will use his 29 years of experience to oversee the overall management of civil, site and survey operations for the firm, as well as marketing and growth strategies, client development, and financial performance in the Raleigh, Charlotte, N.C. and Wilmington, N.C. offices.
After graduating from East Carolina University in Greenville, N.C. with a bachelor's degree in industrial technology, Beckman spent 14 years as an engineer, surveyor and construction observer, then 15 years as a project, department and operations manager in the engineering industry. His professional focus has mainly involved residential, retail and industrial development projects, and for seven years he assisted in the infrastructure development of wireless telephone networks for several major carriers. Beckman is a graduate of class XVI of Leadership North Carolina, and is on the board of directors for the City of Oaks Marathon. He currently resides with his wife, Ingrid, in Raleigh.
