Bell and Howell's Latest BCC Mail Manager Release Supports Customer Supplier Agreements |
|
| |
Durham, N.C. – Bell and Howell, a leading provider of solutions and services for paper-based and digital messaging, has announced support for USPS® Customer Supplier Agreements (CSAs) in its BCC Mail Manager Full Service™ and BCC Mail Manager™ solutions at no additional charge to customers. With this new functionality, mailers will be further equipped and ready for future Full-Service Intelligent Mail® barcode (IMb™) requirements.
"We are proud to be the first presort software provider to fully support Customer Supplier Agreements well in advance of the IMb requirement in January 2013," said Chris Lien, vice president of software marketing for Bell and Howell. "Our CSA support, combined with the unique ability to update Mail.dat files within our popular BCC Mail Manager product, enables our customers to be ready for the Full-Service IMb when it becomes required. By preparing now, our customers can take early advantage of current IMb postage discounts and mailpiece tracking through our Track-N-Trace® service."
CSAs are specialized postage sortation, container separation and induction requirements negotiated between mailers and the United States Postal Service®. Supporting the unique sortation capabilities can be challenging for businesses, and BCC Mail Manager makes required First-Class mail preparation easy. CSAs are also often required for advanced First-Class mail preparation, especially in time-sensitive mailings such as statements and invoices. Bell and Howell's CSA support facilitates use of existing CSA agreements and compliance with Full-Service IMb well before the enforcement date to ensure BCC Mail Manager customers' continued success.
CSA support is included free for all Mail Manager Full Service customers and is bundled with the First-Class Mail Palletization option for BCC Mail Manager customers. A special Bell and Howell webinar that explains Customer Supplier Agreements has been recorded.

| Making Your Website Run Like a High Performance Engine |
Jun. 16, 2013 - (By Lou Amico of L.A. Management Company in Charlotte)
Your website represents your company and brand. For many, it's the customer's first impression of your business. Jimmie Johnson doesn't win NASCAR races without a superior high performance race car and your company won't win business without a high performance website. Here are some tips to create a website that outperforms your competition.
Start with a search engine friendly content management system platform.
Build or move your site to a full-service, content management system (CMS) platform. There are many open source content management platforms, including WordPress, Joomla, Drupal, and more. A search engine friendly CMS allows for easy content updates to keep the website current and relevant. A good CMS also allows users without programming knowledge to write search engine relevant title and Meta tags. These tags are HTML codes that are inserted into the header on a web page. The Meta description tag and the Meta keywords tag are not seen by users. Instead, these tags main purpose is providing document data to search engines.
Using keyword rich URL's, title tags, descriptions, and image alt text will allow search engines to easily follow the content on your site and index it for future online searches for your product or service.
