Raleigh-based Luxury Home Marketing Group Explore Attraction of Custom Homes in June Get Together

Raleigh-based Luxury Home Marketing Group explored the attraction of custom-built homes in the elite segment of the market during June's monthly get-together.

"The Triangle-area has a wonderful selection of existing estate and luxury homes," said LHMG President Kathy Beacham. "However, there is strong interest in custom-built homes as well. When a family is investing nearly half a million dollars or more, builders are very competitive in how they can build a home to match a buyer's dream."

The group met with Homes by Dickerson representative Christy Beck, at a new construction home in Wake Forest, 1020 Overlook Ridge. Members also toured homes represented by Linda Kolarov (1118 Baslow Brook), Brenda Holden (10305 Lobley Hill Lane) and Shawn Britt (11229 Conley Cove) during June's tour.

Background: President Kathy Beacham, Vice-President Linda Craft, Secretary Jill Rekuc of Olde Raleigh Real Estate, LLC , Treasurer Shawn Britt of Realty World-Triangle Living and Past-President Kimberly Conroy complete the 2011 executive board. Steina DeAndrade, Brenda Holden, Linda Kolarov, Linda Lee, Deborah Nance and Lindsay Taylor are also in the group's 2012 membership. The group was formed in 2004 as a coalition of luxury home real estate experts, representing luxury home buyers and sellers with extraordinary real estate expertise and service in Raleigh, Cary, Wake Forest, Durham, Chapel Hill, Research Triangle Park and surrounding counties.

Making Your Website Run Like a High Performance Engine

Jun. 16, 2013 - (By Lou Amico of L.A. Management Company in Charlotte)

Your website represents your company and brand. For many, it's the customer's first impression of your business. Jimmie Johnson doesn't win NASCAR races without a superior high performance race car and your company won't win business without a high performance website. Here are some tips to create a website that outperforms your competition.

Start with a search engine friendly content management system platform.

Build or move your site to a full-service, content management system (CMS) platform. There are many open source content management platforms, including WordPress, Joomla, Drupal, and more. A search engine friendly CMS allows for easy content updates to keep the website current and relevant. A good CMS also allows users without programming knowledge to write search engine relevant title and Meta tags. These tags are HTML codes that are inserted into the header on a web page. The Meta description tag and the Meta keywords tag are not seen by users. Instead, these tags main purpose is providing document data to search engines.

Using keyword rich URL's, title tags, descriptions, and image alt text will allow search engines to easily follow the content on your site and index it for future online searches for your product or service.   More »
