CHARLOTTE, N.C. (Dec. 3, 2018) – Elements Brands, which owns a variety of consumer product companies, has acquired the Natural Dog Company, an all-natural pet company based in Marble Falls, Texas. The Natural Dog Company is Elements Brands’ sixth and largest acquisition since its founding in 2011, and first foray into the pet space. The addition of the premium pet company positions Elements Brands to double its revenue in 2019 and marks the first time Elements Brands will have vertically-integrated manufacturing capabilities.

Natural Dog Company Fits Perfectly with Elements Brands

Natural Dog Company has sold more than 1,000,000 units direct-to-consumer via ecommerce; the products — all-natural health and wellness products for dogs, such as skin and paw balms/soothers, treats, shampoo bars, etc. — are carried by more than 800 retailers, veterinarians and pet rescues nationwide. The Natural Dog Company brand name will not change. The Natural Dog Company’s team of manufacturing, fulfillment and marketing employees will all continue to be employed by Elements Brands in Texas.

Multi-Pronged Distribution

With the addition of Natural Dog Company’s manufacturing facility in the central region of the U.S., Elements Brands will now be able to implement a multi-pronged distribution strategy for all 10 companies it owns, increasing shipping speeds to West Coast-consumers especially. Elements Brands’ existing companies span from beauty to baby to household and more – sold nationwide online direct-to consumer, on, and offline at specialty and big-box retailers.
