(Chapel Hill, NC – Nov. 14, 2017) – Rivers Agency, the award-winning, full-service marketing agency known for its focus on ideas and innovation, has been recognized again this year with four 2017 W³ Awards for outstanding achievement in integrated marketing and web design.
Rivers earned a Gold W³ award for its integrated marketing campaign supporting longtime client First Bank’s “Dream It, Do It” campaign, which offers North Carolina citizens the chance to pitch their dream or nominate a fellow dreamer for a chance to win up to $25,000 to make it a reality.
The agency also won three Silver W³ awards – two acknowledging its overall site and homepage design for Cree.com, the industry leader in energy-efficient, environmentally friendly LED; and one for its overall design for educational site NAP SACC, a program dedicated to early care and education programs for preschool children with a focus on lifelong healthy eating and activity.

The W³ is a national competition, judged by the Academy of Interactive and Visual Arts, recognizing advertising agencies of all sizes, from boutique shops to Fortune 500 companies. The awards honor the agency and creative team behind the most innovative work on the web in categories of design, maintenance and promotion, mobile sites and apps, online marketing, and social and video content. The work is judged on a variety of characteristics, including creativity, usability, navigation, functionality and visual design.
